Then	Now
Self help groups, each woman with her own speculum.	Women around the world ordering speculums via the Internet.
1 employee, 1 physician, 2 unpaid co-directors working night jobs to finance the clinic. Annual budget at $25,000.	70 employees, 10 physicians, 3 security guards, annual budget $4.5 million.
1 clinic, no computers, hand-written messages.	3 clinics and 2 offices continuously connected via dedicated voice and data lines. 45 workstations networked with 3 servers, voice mail, email, Internet, file-sharing.
When clients didn't have enought to pay for an abortion, we went around the clinic passing the hat.	An established Women In Need Fund, raising money and helping women with limited resources.
