NEWS: On Jan 22, we celebrate the 37th Anniversary of Roe v Wade, the US Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal nationwide. While no one plans to have an unplanned pregnancy, when it happens, an important life decision must be made. We trust women to make decisions about abortion and pregnancy. Cedar River Clinics overcome obstacles to provide abortion care so that women may determine their destinies.

Access to abortion is threatened in the latest health reform bill. Watch this on YouTube. Call your U.S. Senators and Reps at 202-224-2131 to stop bans on abortion coverage in health care reform. It is unjust for the private moral choices of women to be subject to majority vote or political lobbying of the Catholic Bishops. Pregnancy decisions belong to women.

A recent  poll commissioned by Catholics for Choice found that 68% of Catholics disapproved of the Bishops' opposition to health care reform that includes abortion coverage; 56% believed the Bishops shouldn't even be taking a position on the health care reform legislation.
